A client approached C S Construction when they found the pathways surrounding a recreational area to be continually flooding following rainfall.
C S Construction where appointed to resolve the problem. Works included the installation of drainage channels performing as cut off drains at predetermined and strategic intervals.
The construction of French drains comprising excavation and filling with single size stone, wrapped in geotextile and incorporating a carrier pipe was another option adopted to alleviate flooding. The discharge of surface water from the new channels and drains was also directed to a machine excavated open V ditch prior to connection to the existing infrastructure.
