C S Construction was appointed to undertake the partial demolition and stabilisation works to a large end property. The works also included the installation of a new and additional drainage system and traditional concrete strip foundations to extend the rear of the property.
A substantial support system was designed by appointed structural engineers and installed by C S Construction on to temporary foundations to enable retention of the gable end whilst the remainder of the building was carefully dismantled.
The existing basement which had historically been in filled was cleared out around the temporary support foundation to enable a full reinstatement to the underside of the ground floor level with 4N foam concrete.
Following the installation of brick and block footings C S Construction installed a structural concrete floor slab to the front of the property and a pot and beam floor to the extended rear.
