During the shop fit out of this unit with a small ground floor sales area and back office, the existing mezzanine level and stock/sort area were refurbished. All associated works to mechanical and electrical and life safety services were inspected and checked to be fit for purpose with additional specified items fitted and commissioned.
Whilst refurbishing the existing mezzanine level C. S. Construction strengthened the floor and installed new over boarding. The staircase to the mezzanine level was also replaced inclusive of handrails and covered with new carpet and contrasting stair nosings.
A new kitchen area was installed.
Separation between the ground floor sales area to office and mezzanine level for protection against fire was achieved by the construction of new partition walls and the installation of fire retardant materials.
The sales area perimeter was lined with slat wall for new shelves and hanging areas.
New floor coverings were laid throughout with timber plank effect vinyl to the sales area, non-slip vinyl to the WC and kitchen areas and carpet tiles to the remaining areas.
Shop fittings to the sales/staff areas and stock/sort areas on both floors were supplied and fitted in accordance with the clients standard details.
The unit was decorated throughout and to complete the project the premises were cleaned prior to a successful demonstration of electrical and mechanical equipment and handover to the client.
