Fit out of a ground floor shop, creation of new stock/sort area and refurbishment of existing office, and all associated works to mechanical, electrical and life safety services.
The client appointed C. S. Construction to carry out various external works on this project. Vegetation to planted areas including trees were cut back and pruned, weed killer was applied to paved areas around the unit and car park followed at a later date by cleaning and power wash. All brick paved areas were inspected and repaired as required. The unit canopy and gutters were cleared and the down pipes and surface water drainage system were inspected and tested to confirm that everything drained freely. All existing bollard light fittings to the parking bays where checked and repaired/replaced as necessary.
Internally the shop fit out commenced with the removal of all remaining fixtures and fittings and internal signage to all areas, damaged ceiling tiles where removed throughout the shop and strip out of the existing shop front signage was undertaken. The existing carpet floor finishes throughout the sales and stock areas were removed and replaced with new. The existing shop counter/partition wall dividing existing sales and stock areas together with some further partitions and shelving forming the rear stock room were also removed which completed the demolition works.
C. S. Construction made the necessary checks to the shop front and ensured that the automatic sliding door was fit for purpose and upgraded to include an interlink with the new fire alarm system. The existing electrical shutters were inspected, serviced and cleaned.
The shop fit out was completed in accordance with the client`s standard details, including installation of perimeter slat wall and vertical uprights, a cash desk, window display plinths, fitting rooms and supplying and installing mid floor and perimeter fixtures and fittings.
All existing electrical and mechanical items were checked to be ‘fit for purpose’ and replaced as necessary with additional equipment fitted where detailed in accordance with the scope of works.
The project was completed within the client`s designated timescale and C. S. Construction were complimented on their craftsmanship and attention to detail.
