The Build Process
The new homes have been constructed in several stages. The photographic examples below demonstrate this, and together with the words the process of each stage is outlined.
Stage 1 –Structural Work
Foundations and floor slab
Brickwork up to first floor
Complete Brickwork, roof and make water tight
Stage 2- First Fix
Stud wall formation of rooms
Dry lining (plasterboard lining)
Stage 3- Second Fix
Sockets and switches
Architraves, skirting and doors
Stage 4- External Works
Garden, patios and fencing
Stage 5 – Finals
Floor tiles, carpets if applicable
Final plumbing, electrical and carpentry work
Final site manager’s inspection
