Located on an industrial site just outside the historic city of Edinburgh, C Scotland Construction were appointed to complete the fit out of a ground floor shop, create a stock/sort area and refurbish the existing back office, wc`s, tea point area.
C Scotland Construction commenced the fit out by removing the existing fabric signage panels applied to the building elevations, it was a requirement to ensure the existing cladding and light boxes were in good order to receive new signage. Once demolition works were complete C Scotland Construction were able to install partitions to create a new stock/sort area.
Floor finishes to the sales and staff/stock area were retained and protected during the fit out. Thorough cleaning of retained items was scheduled to be undertaken prior to completion of the works.
Perimeter slat wall and vertical display uprights were installed to the shop sales area in accordance with the client’s standard details.
Throughout the store electrical and mechanical installations were checked fit for purpose and adapted/extended as required.
The unit was suitably prepared throughout and received a full re decoration.
Prior to final inspection the unit was thoroughly cleaned. Hand over was achieved within the client’s scheduled 4 week programme.
Following hand over C Scotland Construction met with the shops management to guide them through all installed services and handover the unit.
